Transfer Station
The Transfer / Recycling Station is located on Peltoma Avenue and is available to all Pittsfield residents and businesses. If you have any questions about disposing of any items at the Transfer Station, please contact the Transfer Station at 487-3361 or transferstation@pittsfield.org.
Automobile Resident Stickers
To use the Transfer Station and Recycling Center you will need a resident sticker to apply to your vehicle. These are available at the Town Office for $1 each. The Sticker is good for the year it is issued in as well as until the new stickers are available for the next year. You may also use the Recycling Container behind the Town Office in the large parking lot to recycle.

Trash to Treasure
The Trash to Treasure Re-Use Center is located at 576 Peltoma Avenue in Pittsfield. The center opened in April 2011. Trash to Treasure is made possible by wonderful volunteers from the community and members of the Recycling Committee and the Go Green Club. Here is a document outlining the Recycling Committee 2007 Recycling Focus [pdf].
Trash to Treasure is open as follows:
April – October: Every Saturday 10 am – 4 pm
November – March: the 1st Saturday of the month 10am – 4pm
