Pittsfield Farmers' Market

A farmers' market officially organized in early 1997 by Tom Roberts of Snakeroot Organic Farm, with the support of the Town allowing the market to use the Forest and Park Street corner of Hathorn Park. The founding members include area farmers, gardeners, cooks, and artisans, offering locally produced fruits, vegetables, herbs, home baked pies, garden seedlings and plants. It is hoped that additional local producers will join in to increase the offerings available to residents who wish to support fresh, local food, and home-made products.
